On the First Sunday of Christmas, it is time for the one, the only, Trinity Lutheran Church Pop-Up Christmas Pageant.  This is the Children’s Christmas Pageant you remember as a child, but without the long, boring rehearsal and you never have to age out of participating!  There will be singing, costumes, laughter and more! Come a few minutes before worship to choose a part, pick up a script and a costume, and join in the fun.  There will be parts of all sizes, from starring roles to, well, stars.  Want to just sit and watch?  There’s a part for you too!  The Heavenly Host help sing all the songs.  The Christmas pageant is a great event to bring friends or family.  Our neighbors from St. Peter Lutheran will also be joining us this year, adding to the fun.

We welcome the birth of our Savior with a traditional service filled with readings and carols.  Worship closes with the singing of Silent Night by candlelight. Bring your Advent Bags to place under the Christmas tree.

“For every wild animal of the forest is mine, the cattle on a thousand hills.  I know all the birds of the air, and all that moves in the field is mine.” – Psalm 50:10-11

God loves all of creation.  On the festival of St. Francis of Assisi, Sunday, October 7^th, we pay special attention to the animal part of God’s creation.  Bring your pet to Trinity at 2 pm for a special outdoor service of thanksgiving for the love that pets bring to our lives.  All animals are welcome, be they furry, feathery, slimey, or scaley.  Make sure they are on a leash or secured safely.  If your pet does not like to travel, you can also bring a picture of your pet for blessing.
