FED by Faith, Food, and Fellowship
Wednesday, February 19th at 12pm
What is FED? FED is our newest worship experience. We gather at noon to be fed by God’s word and each other’s questions. We come together for prayer and conversation around a topic, then join for lunch to break bread and continue in fellowship.
What should I expect if I visit?
We love visitors. Every church says that but seriously, we do. Our style of worship is what we call “liturgically playful.” We follow a traditional Lutheran format and we love to incorporate art, music, and the occasional streamer. Every worship includes readings from the Bible, a sermon from our pastor, prayers, community time, and sharing communion. At Trinity we practice an open table, which means that everyone is welcome to participate in communion. After worship, we gather for cookies, coffee, and more fellowship.
What should I wear?
Whatever makes you comfortable. Our congregation runs the gamut from t-shirts to blazers and everything in between.
Are my kids welcome?
Yes, we love children! We have a coloring table in the front that they are welcome to use at any time. We also have Worship Kits to help children engage in worship. The kits include paper to color on, a cross to hold while praying, and streamers for dancing during hymns and worship music.
